Refund Policy

General Policy

Late Vidya Kulkarni Foundation is committed to strengthening rural health through household level understanding, preventive health assessment, addiction related counselling, Ayurvedic medicine support and continued follow up. All donations made to the Foundation are voluntary contributions intended to support its programmes, health activities and related initiatives. As contributions may be utilised towards charitable and programme related purposes, donors are encouraged to carefully verify the donation amount and payment details before completing a transaction.

Exceptions For Refunds

Refund requests may be considered only in limited circumstances and will be subject to verification and review by Late Vidya Kulkarni Foundation. A refund may be considered in cases of a duplicate transaction where a donor accidentally makes more than one payment for the same donation, an incorrect amount where an unintended donation value is entered or processed due to an error, or an unauthorised transaction where a payment is made without the donor’s consent, subject to appropriate transaction verification.

Refund Request Process

To request a refund, the donor should contact Late Vidya Kulkarni Foundation and provide complete transaction details for verification. Refund requests may be submitted by email at vidya4rural@gmail.com. The request should include the donor’s full name, contact details, transaction ID, date of donation, amount donated and reason for requesting the refund. Providing complete and accurate information will help the Foundation review the transaction and respond appropriately.

Approval And Processing

Every refund request received by Late Vidya Kulkarni Foundation will be reviewed individually based on the circumstances and available transaction information. Submission of a request does not automatically guarantee approval. Where a refund is approved following verification, it will generally be initiated within 7 to 10 working days. The time required for the amount to reflect may vary depending on the bank, payment gateway, card issuer, UPI provider or other financial institution involved. Wherever possible, an approved refund will be returned through the original payment method used for the donation.

Payment Gateway Charges

Applicable payment gateway charges, transaction fees, banking charges or processing costs may be deducted from the refundable amount wherever applicable. Late Vidya Kulkarni Foundation will not be responsible for processing delays caused by banks, card issuers, payment gateways, UPI providers or other independent financial institutions after an approved refund has been initiated.

Changes To Policy

Late Vidya Kulkarni Foundation reserves the right to update or revise this Refund Policy when required to reflect changes in payment processes, organisational practices, website functionality or applicable requirements. Any revised policy will become effective once published on the Foundation’s website. Donors are encouraged to review this page periodically for current information regarding refund procedures.
